In his current role at SUNY Westchester, Juan-Carlos oversees leadership, multicultural, and radio station-based programs, where he cultivates inclusive, dynamic environments that empower students to find their voice, lead with integrity, and celebrate cultural expression. He also serves as a faculty member in the Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology program of Sofia University, where he shares his integrative, heart-centered approach — bridging the academic, the spiritual, and the personal.
Juan-Carlos holds an A.A. in Human Social Sciences from SUNY Orange, a B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Black Studies and focuses in Women’s and Caribbean Studies from SUNY New Paltz. Additionally, he holds an M.A. in Transpersonal Psychology with a specialization in Spiritual Psychology and a concentration in Transpersonal Eco-Psychology from Sofia University.
